Both Claire's are registered teacher's of the Music Together® program.
Claire Rouleau is the Performing and Creative Arts Lead at MAX. She has a Bachelor of Arts in Child and Youth Studies from Brock University and a diploma in Music Theatre Performance from Sheridan College. She has performed from one end of Canada to the other and up the east coast of the United States as a singer, actor and dancer. Claire spent two years as a Resident Artist Educator at the Young People’s Theatre in Toronto and recently completed professional development training with the Director of Education at the Stratford Theatre Festival in Ontario.
Claire is a registered Music Together teacher and oversees Music, Theatre and Dance at MAX. She is also the co-founder of Old School Intergenerational Projects.
From St. John's Newfoundland, with a Bachleor of Fine Arts Theatre from Sir Wilfred Grenfell College, Claire Hewlett has been working professionally as an actress, vocalist, musician and teacher for the past 10 years. Beginning with voice lessons and musical theatre at age 8, Claire has been performing across the province in various theatre companies as well as touring across the province, Canada and the United Kingdom. Claire has facilitated various theatre and music workshops across the province as well as teaching beginner voice, ukulele and guitar. Claire is delighted to be a part of the MAX family, teaching Music Together, the after-school program and Music Theatre Workshops.
